 Today’s blog entry is about Russian street artists this time.

I came across this photo article online and you can view the photos hereNewsvine - Photos of Russian Street Art.

It seems that Westerners aren’t the only ones who like to paint graffiti on big buildings.

I think some of this cartoon characters artwork is quite good.

The American culture is alive and well in former communist Russia.

Not sure why it’s referred to as graffiti unless it’s not sanctioned by an official government office.

Who wants to see old crumbling buildings in a dreary,run-down section ? I applaud the artists who want to bring some color and maybe  make a statement about their environment.

I’ve seen graffiti on trains and buildings that have gang signs and vulgar language, but this isn’t about that. No one should have a problem with young people exercising their political views, unless, of course,  you happen to live in a closed-minded country.Huh? I guess Putin’s successor,

Mr.  Medvedev     approves of this.?
