Who Knew? “Leave It to Beaver” actor Tony Dow, also an artist, will have a sculpture on display at the Louvre | Culture Monster | Los Angeles Times

Tony Dow,of “Leave it to “Beaver” fame is not only an actor all these years, but now also  being hailed as an artist.

Dow, now 63, played “Wally”,big brother to the “Beave” on the 50’s show,Leave It To Beaver.

Tony Dow claims to have been involved in painting and sculptures since his teens. Who knew?

This was not discussed in any articles I ever read.

There are many actors who have artistic talents beyond the screen,it seems.

Anyway, to have your work displayed in  Paris’ the Louvre is a dream for any artist! Tony Dow isn’t exactly a house hold name when it comes to the art world. I guess it pays to have some connections. Apparently the article stated that his art friends introduced his work and how they were instrumental in the Louvre’s decision to display his sculptures, next month.

I say,good for him!

Now if I can have the phone number of his friend…..
