Toilet Roll Turkeys
Oh the Weather Outside is Frightful….
As the old holiday song goes, I think it’s from “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…”?
We are experiencing January weather right now in south central Kentucky. I watched the weather channel today and it looks like the whole Midwest to eastern section of the country, even Florida, is colder than normal. This is distressing to say the least. We had such a warm autumn with temperatures in the mid to upper seventies just a few weeks ago.
Oh how I regret wishing it would cool off! Wearing shorts in October in Kentucky is just not right. Don’t shoot me; I was tired of the heat already.
I lived in Florida for a short time and sweated all the time, it seemed.
Well, I’m inside searching for Thanksgiving ideas for the kids to do on Thanksgiving Day.
I found some creative ways to keep my friends kids occupied while the turkey and fixings are cooking.
There are toilet roll name tags Turkeys to make for each guest. It’s not an appetizing name put great fun for the kids.
Collect used rolls, orange, brown, yellow, red and black construction paper, scissors, glue sticks and crayons are all that are needed.
See below for finished product. They’ll love it and you’ll be able to prepare a meal without the whining.
