I’m going to try hard to keep my New Year Crafts Resolutions  this time.

I have made note of what crafts  are selling and what hasn’t . Just because it was well made and a good deal, doesn’t mean I have to hold on to it. 

I’m also resolving to work on updating my jewelry line to include polymer clay creations and sterling metalwork. After researching the crafts sites and attending shows,I am going to update and change my pieces to reflect the current tastes.

Just because I like it,doesn’ t mean I should keep it.

I resolve to make my own website will highlight my jewelry and crafts this year also.I think it’s better to be on my own website and not be lost in a sea of other artists and craftspeople.

I will resolve to make more custom pieces and not waste any more material on abstract pieces that are too unique.

This is a different era and people don’t have the money to spend on luxury items.

I will resolve to paint more landscapes ,not abstracts like I did in the past. The most views were on my landscapes last year .

I will also resolve to write more and pay more time to blogs and design.

It’s easy to make resolutions and everyone does this .but do we really mean it? 

What makes this different is that it’s not a whim or silly idea; it’s a business decision.

I’ll start on this next week and try to enjoy what’s left of this year.
