Make Wooden Cutout Christmas Tree Ornaments

You can purchase unfinished 1/8 inch plywood wood Holiday cutouts that are pre-sanded

or not from online companies, listed online or found in craft stores.

These cutouts are then decorated with anything that you want, such as paint, glitter, markers, beads or whatever you wish. If you can’t find these or don’t have the money, then locate cardboard in the house as a substitute. The thin cardboard that you find in new shirt packages or the gift boxes that you may have saved will work fine.

The thicker box will work also but will be tougher to cut out. An exacto or box cutter  knife will work best.

Draw the template or outline of the holiday ornaments that you want to decorate.

You can find templates on the internet.

Popular shapes are the tree, reindeer, presents, angels , candy canes and snowman,
