What Brain Do You Use as an Artist?

Everyone knows that there are two sides or hemispheres in each of our brains.
What side of the brain do you use as an artist? Most people don’t think of this when creating,but research shows that most artists are right side thinkers. The left side thinkers are said to be more analytical. This doesn’t mean that they cannot be creative ,it just means the lefties ( as I refer to them) are more organized and plan accordingly.
Left dominated brained artists don’t usually create on instinct or on a whim.The right side brained artists are more “in the moment” and create from feeling the painting.
I can tell you that my paintings go through a number of changes before I am satisfied with the end result.
One painting took me over four months to complete. I just didn’t “feel it.”
I found some sites that can tell you what type of artist you are ,simply by answering some questions online. it’s fun and no one needs to know.
